| Chris joined the LEAM project in October 2002 as our laboratory coordinator. She has a background in watershed ecology and is interested in how dynamic spatial modeling is used as a tool to guide land-use decision-making. Before joining the LEAM project, Chris was the Illinois Watershed Academy coordinator and webmaster with the Illinois Water Resources Center at the University of Illinois. At as research scientist with the Illinois is Natural History Survey, she developed and tested soil quality assessment procedures for Illinois Department of Natural Resources SoilWatch volunteer monitoring program. Chris received a B.S. in Forest Science and an M.S. in Natural Resource Ecology from the University of Illinois. She is currently a Doctoral student at the University of Illinois.
