Agus Soeriaatmadja is working on the urban development history map for the St. Louis and East St. Louis Metro Area project. Joined UIUC in August 2000, he is completing the MLA program at the Department of Landscape Architecture. His main interest is in the site-scale cultural and natural resource conservation, particularly in tourism development. He previously involved in tourism sites, such as resort area, heritage sites, and nature trail, such as Taj Mahal Nature train and Champaner Heritage Sites in India. He is currently working on his thesis titled ‘The Role of Landscape Design in Cultural Tourism Development in the Baduy Village, West Java, Indonesia.’ Previous education & occupation: B. Arch. from the School of Architecture at theParahyangan Catholic University, Bandung Indonesia (graduated 1996). 1996 – present work as a planner/designer at the Center for Research on Tourism, Institute of Technology Bandung, Indonesia. 1997 – 1998 Atelier 6 Architecture office in Bandung, Indonesia
