| | Nikhil Kaza arrived at University of Illinois as a Master's student in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2001 after completing his Architecture (with Honors) from Legacy planning project for McHenry County IL. His Master's work is concerned with developing an ontology for land use regulations. A complete list of publications can be found here. Nikhil is also interested in stochastic modeling of land prices, optimal control theory, game theory and complex systems analysis. He is also trained in In his other incarnation as an architect he was interested in design of prisons, schools and other buildings of control influenced by Foucault and Pink Floyd. He sincerely wishes, when he gets respite from ingesting insane amounts of caffeine, climbing rocks and mountains, long treks, running marathons, feeble attempts at learning martial arts, and ushering at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, that he will finish his PhD soon. | |
